ABBE PIERRE: (1912-2007) Born Henri Marie joseph Groues. French Catholic Priest and member of the French Resistance during WWII. Further Deputy of the Republican Movement. Abbott Pierre was the founder of the Emmaus movement to help the poor, homeless and refugees. A good colour signed 8 x 12 photograph with statement, the image showing the French priest in a close-up smiling half length pose.
