Grouchy states in full `Please find enclosed the letter that Colonel Saucey of the 84th Regiment has sent me about the difficulties the regiment he commands is experiencing as a result of the measures taken by the Dutch government regarding the payment of their remaining salaries. You will notice an awkward delay in incomes and expensive costs to get them, although the circumstances give rise to a reasonable hope that things should change soon.
