All my 37 photos which by chance remain…..derive from the period June to Autumn 1941 and are concerned with the 67th Infantry Regiment to which I belonged on the advance to Moscow….'), Friedrich Beermann, Helmuth Bergengruen, Jurgen Brandt, Gustav-Adolf Kuntzen, Rolf Elble (explaining that he has no reminders of World War II 'because the home of my parents has been destroyed by air blitz in 1944, and because I myself returned 1949 after four years of war captivity in the Soviet Union'), Karl Peyer, Leodegard Freyberg, Hans Hinrichs (explaining that very few photographs were taken in actual combat by German soldiers during World War II), Siegfried Muller (later a mercenary who fought under Major Mike Hoare in the Congo Crisis, 1964) etc. Also including a few carbon typed copies of letters and a photograph of Hans Speidel bearing a rubber stamped signature.
