HICKS JOHN: (1904-1989) British Economist. Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 1972. Widely considered one of the most influential economists of the 20th century. Among his major contributions his ''Consumer Demand Theory'' in microeconomics and his book Value and Capital (1939). Signed printed 6 x 9 paperback copy of Hicks´ article The Quest for Monetary Stability, eighteen pages, being a reprinted from The South African Journal of Economics, 1975.
