STERN BERT: (1929-2013) American Photographer. A fine limited edition signed 28 x 22.5 serigraph by Stern, entitled ''Yellow Marilyn'', the attractive large image showing Marilyn Monroe in a head and shoulders pose. Signed with his name alone to the lower right corner, in pencil. Framed and glazed to an overall size of 29 x 23. VG Stern was one of the last photographers to shoot Marilyn Monroe, in June and July 1962 for Vogue magazine. Only a month later Monroe died in August 1962. These sessions became known as ''The Last Sitting''. The photographs taken on these sessions were published after her death in 1992
