Individually signed by Walt Disney (1901-1966) American Animator, Academy Award winner, & Charles Chaplin (1889-1977) English Film Comedian, Academy Award winner. Signed in bold blue ink by both artists with their names alone, Disney signing in his usual large writing, beneath two additional autographs by French singer Jacqueline François (1922-2009) and by French actor Pierre Blanchar (1892-1963). Dated at the bottom right corner in another hand, 4th October 1957. Also signed to the verso by French actress Gisele Robert (1932- ) with lengthy inscription. Small overall minor age wear and creasing, otherwise G Provenance: The present page originates from the restaurant visitor's book of Jean Cassini, a renowned French restaurateur in Avignon, both at the Hotel d'Europe and his own establishment, Restaurant Cassini. The visitor's book was in use from 1957-82.
