HALEVY FROMENTAL: (1799-1862) French Composer. A.L.S., F Halevy, one page, 8vo, blue paper, n.p., Wednesday 18th 1860, in French. Halevy apologizes for the delay in responding and in finishing the work requested and states in part `If you were aware about how annoying the work I have to do is, you would have pity for me. But all this is finished now, only since yesterday. I promise you, in the most authentic way, like if all notaries would have checked this, that for the 15th February you will have the work that you so kindly asked me to achieve.´ With blank integral leaf.
