ARLETTY: (1898-1992) Leonie Bathiat, known as Arletty, French Actress and Singer. One of the highest-paid actress of her time. Arletty was found guilty of treason and imprisoned for an unclear and controversial affair with a German Luftwaffe officer during WWII. In a very large written letters, Arletty writes one or two words per line, stating in part `Heureuse vous savoir rue Duret.
