SIMON MICHEL: (1895-1975) Swiss Actor. Simon appeared in more than 150 plays between 1920 and 1975. A very attractive and unusual colour 12.5 x 20 diploma signed `Michel Simon´, one page, n.p., 5th December 1967, to Monsieur Guy Augé, in French. The fake diploma is issued by the cinematographic team to a colleague, showing few sketches and a funny and lengthy inscription stating in part `Le Captain Michel Simon, alias Palmer II (90 films aux prunes) en vertu des pouvoirs qu´il s´est conféré et sous la présidence d´honneur de l´Amiral Toporkoff (167 films a la St. Jean) sacre l´equipe Epinay premiere equipe cinematographique
