URE MARY: (1933-1975) Scottish Actress, wife of playwright John Osborne, and later actor Robert Shaw. Academy Award nominee. A scarce vintage signed and inscribed 10 x 8 photograph of Ure seated in a glamorous half-length pose wearing a pair of long white gloves. Photograph by Ted Reed and bearing his credit stamp to the verso. Signed in blue ink across a light area of the image, 'To Barbara - with gratefull (sic) thanks for all your help & encouragement, Mary Ure'. Signed photographs of Ure are scarce as a result of her untimely death at the age of 42. VG
