"Our Lady of Carmen".
Oil on canvas. 67 x 56 cm. At Mary’s feet is a handwritten cartouche indicating the concession of eighty days of indulgence from the Archbishop of La Plata to whoever prayed to this image. On the back is a handwritten inscription: "Esta Virgen de Carmen; es de D. Antonio Pasqual Canela. Â. 1822. Y de D.ª Magdalena de Vega, su esposa".
