The Pedro de Osma Museum in Lima, has a gallery exclusively dedicated to this series of angels and archangels. Among them is one like this, called Archangel Ariel, dated circa 1700 - 1730.
This artistic theme originated in the late 17th century and became very widespread and much in demand.
