ELIZABETH II: (1926- ) Queen of the United Kingdom 1952- . Autograph envelope signed, with her initials ER to the lower left corner, the oblong 8vo registered mail envelope hand addressed by the Queen to Madame Reinhold at La Mardelle, Isdes, Loiret, France. With two different postage stamps affixed, each featuring images of the Queen's father, King George VI, and postmarked at Buckingham Palace, 20th May 1953. With some creasing and light age wear, very slightly affecting the Queen's initials, and with several tears to the edges (the largest at the centre of the left edge). G
Georgina Reinhold had been Princess Elizabeth's French tutor.
