The partially printed typed document, in German, bears the printed heading ''Der Reichsfuhrer - SS - Chef der Deutschen Polizei in Reichsministerium des Innern'', (''Reichsfuhrer SS, Chief of the German Police in the Ministry of the Interior'', and is addressed to the Reich Commissioner in Vienna for the Reunification of Austria with the German Reich. The document refers to the order of taking over the budget of the Austrian federal police and gendarmerie, stating in part `Mr. Reich Commissioner, Mr. Klausner informed you of these questions, and….informed the Inspector of the Office in Vienna about this order, obliging you to take over the Austrian Federal Police and Gendarmerie budget.
