Specially commissioned unique hand-crafted silver filigree Mitzvah Ship, Israel, 20th century
From a private collection.
This ship has been designed to high specifications, extremely rare.
The bow curves its way up to the front of ship collared by ropes and circular motifs. Lifebuoys hang on side of bow tied with ropes. Wheel designs attached to walls of the ship. Sails are designed as triangular works, cabin chased in filigree circular motifs.
The ship contains a menorah – Chanukiah, kiddush cup, Havdalah set, sefer torah yad, candle holders, tzedakah- charity box and dreidel.
