MARCONI GUGLIELMO: (1874-1937) Italian Inventor, developed a radio telegraph system. Nobel Prize winner for Physics, 1909. An excellent and unusual signed and inscribed 7 x 9 photograph by Marconi, the image bears at the base a photographer´s studio blind embossed seal, from Geneva, depicting the Italian inventor standing outdoors, in a half length pose, in uniform as member of the Royal Academy of Italy. Signed and inscribed in bold black ink (`To Doctor Antonio Scrocca, Guglielmo Marconi´) in Italian, also dated July 1933 in his hand. Extremely small age wear, otherwise VG £300-400
