A GILT BRONZE BUDDHA
Thailand, 20th century
The seated figure with crossed legs in the dhyanasana position, the left hand resting in the lap, the right one with the palm open at chest height, at his shoulder an aureole outlined as the Wheel of the Law ( dharmacakra), the lotus flower supported by a base with small figures of prayers in relief on the front.
