A MOTHER-OF-PEARL INLAID LACQUERED WOOD CHEST

Rectangular section, the red lacquered base with a gilt geometric decoration in relief, the exterior of the container uniformly lacquered in black with a mother-of-pearl inlaid decoration, each side with stylized vegetal compositions and birds inside a frame with geometric and floral motifs, metal hinges and handles, the interior uniformly lacquered in red, on the bottom the glued remains of a newspaper in French.
