A TRIPLE-WICKED INCISED BRONZE OIL LAMP
Iran, Khorasan, 12th-13th century
Supported by a wide and high foot with an octagonal section stem, the hemispherical tank with three curved slots for the wick and an ogival opening once closed by a lidi, the ring shaped handle surmounted by a bird, the incised decoration consisting of inscriptions, arabesques and birds.
