A TURQUOISE-GLAZED MOULDED ‘CALLIGRAPHIC’ SIX-WICKED OIL LAMP
Iran, Bujnurd, Khorasan, 14th century
Compressed globular body with large circular mouth, six spouts for the fires on the outside of the wall at equal distance from each other, covered with a turquoise glaze with black enamel strokes, a calligraphic decoration in relief.
