"Valkyrie on Horseback" first third 20th century
Chrysoelephantine sculpture in bronze and ivory. With an onyx base. The model of this work is reproduced in "Art Deco and Other Figures", Bryan Catley, Antique Collectors Club p. 54. Chalon won honorable mention at the 1889 and 1900 show. There are several editions of this model in different sizes, patina both in bronze and chrysoelephantines.
