Moonrise is an original artwork realized by Hans F. E. von Schennis in 1879. Black and white etching. Original title: Lever De Lune. Signed on plate on the lower left. The artwork belongs to the series Souvenir d'Italie. Published by A. Cadart, edit Imp. 56 Bard Haussmann, Paris. Titled on plate on the lower center. On the upper center: Salon 1879. Good conditions, except for foxings on the margins and some folds along the lower right. Includes passepartout: 33.5 x 51 cm. This artwork represents a landscape at the time of moonrise. Hans Friedrich Emanuel von Schennis (Germany, 1852 - 1918) was a landscape painter and etcher of the Düsseldorf school.
