Ophelia is a beautiful original black and white etching on ivory-colored paper, realized by Jules Simon Payrau. With the inscription with the name of the authour on plate on lower margin at the center. This modern artwork, representing the tragic end of Ophelia, is an artist's proof, before letter, printed on Japon palure paper, very well inked. In very good conditions, except for a light diffused foxing along the margins.
