Les Sorcières is an original artwork realized by Jean Amable Pastelot in 1863. Etching on paper. Published by A. Cadart & Luquet. Dry stamp on the lower central margin. Signed by the artist on the left margin. Very good conditions. Very interesting artwork representing some old women in a wood. In the center of the composition there is one of them showing a big old book to the others. On the right and on the left of this figure, two bare-chested witches watch the book. On the right of the composition there is a big moon and a bat. The artwork was realized by the French artist Jean Amable Pastelot (1820 - 1870).
