Silver plated and Shibayama ivory English knife and fork service set - Sheffield, 1880-1896, mark of Fenton Brothers; ; chased and engraved and pierced with floral volutes; Japanese elephant ivory handles (Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758 o Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797), Meiji period, inlaid using Shibayama technique with insects. Stamped with maker's marks of Fenton Brothers, working with this mark in Sheffield from 1880 to 1896. Knife lenght 30.5 cm, fork lenght 24.5 cm. Total weight 191 gr.
