Silver and ivory German sculprure - Hanau, mark of B. Neresheimer & Sohne; ; 13 Loth silver (812/1000) sculpture depicting the head of Napoleon Bonaparte with elephant ivory (Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758 or Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797) face, placed on a marble base. Stamped with the mark of B. Neresheimer & Sohne, Hanau, Germany. Neresheimer was founded in 1890 as a partnership of August and Ludwig Neresheimer and Jean Schlingloff. Dimensions 9.3 x 7.3 x 4 cm. Weight 321 gr. Item condition grading: **** good. Accompanied by Ce.S.Ar. Centro Studi Archeometrici certificate of antiquity (pre-1947).
