German ivory carving of the Virgin and Child - last quarter 19th Century; ; a carved elephant ivory figural group (Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797 o Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758) depicting "Virgin and Child". Sculpture height 16.3 cm, with base 22 cm. Total weight 234 gr. Item condition grading: **** good. Accompanied by Ce.S.Ar. Centro Studi Archeometrici certificate of antiquity (pre-1947).
