French silver, ivory and glass vanity set - Art Deco period, early 20th Century; ; composed by a cut glass and elephant ivory (Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797 or Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758) tray and four silver mounted cut glass bottles with elephant ivory lids. Fully hallmarked with French marks after 1838 used in Paris for 800/1000 silver, silversmith "E G". Tray dimensions 35 x 20 x 3 cm, bottles heights 8.3/11.5/13.5/14.5 cm. Total weight 2649 gr. Item condition grading: **** good. Accompanied by Ce.S.Ar. Centro Studi Archeometrici certificate of antiquity (pre-1947).
