A silver cased Esther scroll, megillah, unmarked, probably Turkish, 2nd half of 19th century, the cylindrical body engraved with floral sprays and swags to a spirally fluted winder with spearhead terminal, the top of the case with filigree sphere finial, the parchment with 15 lines to a column, depth 9.7cm, case length (inc. handle) 23.3cm.
