A silver filigree cased Esther scroll, megillah, probably Eastern Europe, 19th century, the cylindrical body partly foiled in red beneath the filigree decoration and the crown finial capping a silver gilt dome around which is engraved a Hebrew inscription, filigree winding handle, the parchment (stained) with 11 lines to a column, depth 5.5cm, case length (inc. winder) 20.8cm.
