A carved ivory cased HaMelech Esther scroll, megillah, possibly Austrian late 19th/early 20th century, the case carved with a medallion of a mounted Mordecai led by Haman, the medallion surmounted by a vase and bordered above and below by panels of undulating scrolls and flowers, the parchment with 19 lines to a column, depth 6cm, case length (inc. winder) 20.4cm.
