the 14k gold case with a rectangular face, split dials the main dial spelling '1/4 CENTURY CLUB' and inscribed 'Eaton' to the centre, subsidiary seconds dial, the movement inscribed 'Rolex Ultra Prima' case back engraved 'ROLEX 31 VICTOIRES De HAUTE PRECISION'. The rear of the case engraved inscription ' Presented to Lynn V Salton to mark a Quarter Century of Continuous Service, with the T Eaton Co. Ltd., 1922-1947'The T. Eaton Co. Limited was once Canada's largest department store retailer. It was founded in 1869 in Toronto by Timothy Eaton, an Irish immigrant. Eaton's grew to become a retail and social institution in Canada, with stores across the country, and a catalogue that was found in the homes of most Canadians.
