Japan, first half of the 20th century
Black ground, on the lid - enclosed within a geometric border - a fine gold and silver lake landscape with strips of land, trees, huts, pavilions, human figures and on the bottom the unmistakable shape of Mount Fuji, on the back two junks on the water.
