A PAINTED CERAMIC FUNERARY MODEL OF A HORSE AND RAIDER
China, Tang dynasty
The horse with its legs resting on a rectangular plate, its head slightly turned to the left, the man with his arms holding the bridle, widespread presence of pigment, of a bright orange for the figure.

Provenance: Fabrizio Savi collection, acquired from Galerie Moderne, Bruxelles, on 22 march 2000.
* The thermoluminescence carried out on 9/2/2000 from the Brussels Art Laboratory. Nuclear Section. Institut Superieur Industriel de Bruxelles confirms the proposed dating.
