Letter from Pablo Neruda and Gerardo Seguel, President and secretary of the Alliance of Intellectuals of Chile to Franklin L. Salson, in the USA of the "American Writers League". Santiago de Chile 5th December 1938.
Very important letter as P. Neruda openly addresses the recipient as “Comarade”, proving his affiliation to the Communist Party. The witch hunt against communists of the McCarthy era in the United States never managed to prove the American Writers League’s links to communism.
