Portraits is an original artwork realized by Sami Burhan in the 1970s. passepartout included (49 x 34 cm).
This print represents some male and female figures inside a few square boxes. The whole composition is framed by a very thin line. The portraits are realized with thin and simple black lines. The volumes of the faces are made by a strong chiaroscuro.
Sami Burhan (Aleppo, 1929) was a Sirian artist, painter and engraver specialized in Arab calligraphic art.
Good conditions, except for some spots on the lower right side.
