Abstract Composition is an original pencil on paper realized in pencil by Jean Dreyfus-Stern in the first decades of the XX Century.
Hand-signed by the artist in ink on the lower right corner.This sketch depict an abstract composition realized with spots of pure tempera color. Light blue and withe with a touch of grey. The surface is brilliant and bright and the colors are mixed together.
The artwork has been realized by Jean Dreyfus-Stern (Paris, 1890 - Paris, 1980), a pupil of Maurice Denis and Antoine Bourdelle. He was captured by painting and became the pupil of Charles-François-Prosper Guérin (for painting) and Bernard Naudin (for engraving) and he attended the Académie Colarossi.
