Pencil drawing on cream-colored paper, 31,5 x 21,5 cm
Man Portrait is a beautiful original pencil drawing on cream-colored paper made by the Italian artist Ildebrando Urbani (1901 - 1985).
Realized by a skilled hand, this rapid sketch reveals all its beauty in the freshness of the lines.
This modern artwork, representing an elder man in a natural pose and this same man standing in a little sketch under the main drawing.
On the lower right corner of the back, the blue-ink stamp "Arte Storia Collezione Contessa Laetitia Pecci-Blunt".
Ildebrando Urbani (1901-1985)
The Italian artist Urbani participated in numerous editions of the National Art Quadrennial of Rome from 1931 to 1956 and at the Venice Biennial in 1940 and 1942. He later moved to Madrid where he continued the exhibition activity.
Is in excellent conditions, except for some folds of the paper and some yellow stains on the lower margin. A white cardboard passepartout is included (49 x 34 cm).
