Long halachic responsum regarding the honour due to Torah scholars. Dated 1918. Mentions the writer’s father, Rabbi Eliezer Zucker, and sends regards to the father of the recipient, Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich of Szomlo.
Rabbi Shlomo Zucker (d. 1943), son of Rabbi Eliezer Zucker of Beregsasz and son-in-law of his brother Rabbi Chayim Zucker of Nagyhalasz, succeeding him as Rabbi there in 1922. succeeding his father in Beregsasz in 1922. Author of Be’er Shlomo
Rabbi Yehoshua Ehrenreich (d. 1959), son of Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich - author of Lechem Shlomo, Rabbi of Somlyo. Succeeded his father as Rabbi of Somlyo after the Holocaust, later settling in Jerusalem.
