A pair of Japanese tobacco boxes, Black lacquer over copper, inlaid with mother-of-pearl Edo period (1615-1868). Early 19th Century.
One depicting a landscape and the other a peacock amongst blossoming trees. The hinges of one of them must be replaced and the other shows a lack of many mother of pearl pieces. 2 x 13 x 7 cm
