WEISS MARTIN GOTTFRIED: (1905-1946) German SS-Obersturmbannfuhrer, Commandant of Neuengamme concentration camp 1940-42, Majdanek concentration camp 1943-44 and Dachau concentration camp in 1945. Rare dark fountain pen ink signature ('Martin Weiss') on a 12mo piece neatly clipped from an official typed document and bearing one other word in the hand of Weiss. Autographs of Weiss are rare in any form as a result of his execution by hanging at the age of 40 following his trial and conviction at the Dachau Trials where he was found guilty of 'violating the laws and usages of war'.
