BRAQUE GEORGES: (1882-1963) French Painter, closely associated with his colleague Pablo Picasso in the development of Cubism. A.L.S., G Braque, one page, 4to, Varengeville sur Mer, 6th October 1935, to Monsieur Olsen, in French. Braque acknowledges the receipt of his correspondent's cheque for 8000 francs and remarks 'Your letter has given pleasure and I am very happy to have another picture in Sweden. I hope with you that the future will be favourable for us. I think that this time the exchange rate has worked out well
