Antique Chinese Sterling Fingernail Protectors
Rare Antique repousse figural sterling silver fingernail protectors. Probably representing Chinese Immortals and or Deities. Includes (8) pieces; The longest of the guards is approx. 1.75". The widest measures approx. 1 7/8"h. There are two holes on each side of the guards. It appears that string was threaded through the holes to hold the guards in place. On one of the fingernail protectors there is still a trace of silver gilt (gold gilt).
