Prussian Artillery Sword M1864
Prussian Artillery sword or glaive model 1864 known as Faschinenmesser. The sword features brass mounting with reversed cruise and fused brass spindle. The handle has inverted quillons and stylized eagle head pommel, cruise stamped EW(65). Additionally marked throughout with proof and arsenal stamps, to the guard (4, GR, EW65, 546), to the blade dated (1875) with a proof stamp over. Size 22" L, blade 16 1/2" L
