Early Tibetan Dpa'dam Battle Sword
Heavily detailed and handsomely smithed Tibetan Dpa'dam battle sword with leather scabbard. Pommel and grip intricately decorated with copper inlays and banding. The ray skin wrapped wood grip with circular cross guard and three spikes protruding from it's end. Single edged blade of hairpin folded construction and laminated Damascus steel with oblique point. Size overall 35 1/2" L, size of blade 30" L
Condition: Well preserved condition with wear and losses to scabbard.
