Two Japanese Samurai Sword Tsuba, Edo Period 1603-1867
Larger tsuba with maple leaf's and autumn scenes inlayed with a double gourd sake vase to one side, the other smaller with a pierced opening for locking lever and engraved with a wind or sea pattern behind two bi-disc incised with a series of 4 dots in pattern similar to rice grain pattern. Size of larger 3 1/2" W
