Gyroscopic Two Seat Roadster
Made by the Hess Toys Company. Germany - 1920's - 9 1/2" Long. The Hess Toys Company made a specialization of producing tinplate toys whose motion was put into effect by a flywheel driven gyroscope. Their toys often demonstrate a very skillful & attractive approach to lithography. In particular, please make note of the fine use of lithography to create the spoked wheels.
