Tomoshige Kusuno Mixed Media Painting 1962
Tomoshige Kusuno (Japanese/Brazilian, b. 1935). Mixed media on board abstract painting, 1962. Signed and dated along the lower right.
Sight; height: 47 in x width: 33 in. Framed; height: 51 in x width: 37 1/2 in x depth: 1 1/2 in.
Condition: Due to the nature of the work it is difficult to discern whether the work has sustained damage or not. There are small chips and some flaking throughout the lower third of the work, especially along the higher points. There is craquelure along the lower left corner of the work. Housed within a wooden frame; wear to the frame including some gilt loss throughout, especially along the upper right corner, and dust and debris gathered within the recesesd areas. Not inspected out of frame.
