Pair Joaquim Tenreiro 3D Mixed Media Artworks
Joaquim Tenreiro (Brazilian, 1906-1992). Pair of mixed media three-dimensional works in black and white. Both curve outwards with a circular concavity in the opposing color. Both signed and impressed along the verso.
(White) height: 23 1/2 in x width: 35 1/2 in x depth: 5 3/4 in. (Black) height: 23 3/4 in x width: 35 1/2 in x depth: 6 in.
Condition: (Black) There are cracks to the paint along the seam where the curved element has been inset into the work. To the white paint, there are several long cracks to the paint layer. There are several cracks along the edges. Light wear along the edges. (White) There are cracks to the paint along the seam where the curved element has been inset into the work. There are several other cracks to the white paint throughout. There is a small chip to the edge of the curved element. There are some cracks to the black paint. There is soiling throughout. There are several cracks along the edges. Light wear along the edges.
