Large hand-knotted wool on cotton Persian rug or carpet. With a large geometric medallion, with boteh and knot motifs over a navy blue ground, on a red field studded with rosettes. The primary cream border with geometric scrolling floral decorations, bounded by six narrow guard borders with profuse geometric decoration.
